Korea, US to Implement FTA in March

South Korean trade officials have announced that the long-awaited free trade agreement between the US and Korea will take effect on March 15th of this year.
Last November, Boeing announced its largest ever commercial sale when it signed a deal with Indonesia’s Lion Air for 230 aircraft valued at $21.7 billion. The importance of the commercial aviation industry to the U.S. overall economy cannot be overstated.

For the first time in history, the Asian region in 2009 spent as much on research and development in science and technology (S&T) fields as the United States, the traditional leader in high technology investment.
